Note/s:
- phtwitters is now a registered twitter client. All messages sent thru the phtwitters gateway will have the tag “from phtwitters”
- There will be no confirmation messages sent back to you. You need to follow PHtwitters in twitter to be able to get notifications and confirmation/error messages in your twitter account instead.

And when the gateway registration counts to more than a 100 or more, you think we’re going to hire people to manually update your twitter account for you ? Bro, the service is entirely automated, from the time your text msg is received up to the posting to your twitter account. I suppose you have not used TWIT2948 which also requires you to register your twitter credentials.
We expected these kind of suspicions even before we started working on the gateway.
Consider this, we are spending money to keep the service available to help the pinoy twitter community, especially those who are using Smart since they could not avail of the service that TWIT2948 is providing. Beside the purchase of the hardware and the man-hours spent developing the software for this, we are also incurring expenses on the electricity.
And if we decide to hack your twitter account, i suppose we can steal millions from your twitter account ?
This is just a matter of trust and your need to update yor twitter status. You can trust us to keep your login credentials and in exchange you can use the service at no cost to you. Or if your need to totally keep your twitter account secure is very high, then you can just use international texting to update it if you’re a Smart subscriber or use the TWIT2948 gateway for sun/globe subscribers.
If we’re asking you to give your login credentials to your bank account, then that’s the time to get really suspicious.

I tried registering at PHTwitters. No error message. I also send a TWIT (message) via PHTwitters, so I’m waiting for that to appear in my other Twitter account.
(Maybe’s there are SMS delivery issues with SMART.)

[repost] @ederic hmm im not a smart user anymore (after i got pissed with them) and well i use twitter on my phone using the mobile app called yehba which uses gprs connection. gprs rates are cheaper and better to use using globe and sun coz its charging is per kb and using yehba, i am able to update my twitter and use msn or yahoo im on the go at a cheap rate coz i am charged per character sent and received. but if you dont want to use yehba, you may use jtwitter or tinytwitter which are downloadable mobile softwares too for your mobile where you can update twitter easily. yun nga lang since smart user ka nga pala, gprs would be expensive on ur part since its charging is per 30mins. tsk tsk. oh well hope phtwitters would work for you and other smart users, let us know ur comment about it soon

I dunno what i’m doing wrong but after registering, I still can’t update my twitter; this is the same thing with Plurk, I tried phplurk, wala parin.
it seems that sun cellular subscribers can also use this. BUT for now, for the past few days, the gateway for SUN AND SMART users is down. I posted on the site forum but no reply from anyone from the site. Will wait a little more.
