Why do use twitter? Why? Because I believe Twitter’s original purpose –> “Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?”

When and how did you start using twitter? I can’t remember the exact date but I remembered hearing it on one of Leo Laporte’s podcast.

How do you usually twit - thru pc or mobile? and what particular application are you using? I’m using Twhirl on the PC and phTwitter while I’m mobile. I’m still thinking if I’ll register my account on Globe’s UPD8 Twitter to receive SMS updates when I’m mobile. P2.50 per 3 Twitter SMS update is kinda expensive right?

How often do you twit? I twit everyday

Do you use other microblogs aside from Twitter? I used to be active in Plurk. I also have a dormant account in Jaiku and Pownce.

Despite lots of microblogs coming out, why do you still use Twitter? Twitter is simple and easy to use and can easily be integrated to my blog.

Why do use twitter? Because, twitter was my first micro blogging / updates site. I sooo lalaloooove it.

How often do you twit? 5 times a day usually. XD

Despite lots of microblogs coming out, why do you still use Twitter? Because still, even though people migrated to plurk, I still love twitter because it has a lot of memories.:]

Why do use twitter? I’m not really very sociable In Real Life (IRL), so I decided to use Twitter as a way to help break out of my shell. It’s been great for that purpose! I also enjoy it when Twitter lets me know about big news events well before traditional media gets a hold of it. A recent example is when Barack Obama announced his VP choice, and it was on Twitter hours before it hit the front page of Yahoo! or CNN.

When and how did you start using twitter? About two years ago, I was invited to join Twitter by a fellow geek friend, a UP professor.

I tweet using my Mac if I’m sitting in front of it, using either Twitter’s web interface or Twitterrific (which is a pretty good Twitter client for the Macintosh). If I’m away from my Mac, I’ll tweet using my iPhone via the mobile version of Twitterrific, or Twitterfon (a lightweight Twitter client for iPhone made by the developer of TwitterFox.)

How often do you twit? I twit several times a day. Sometimes I have been known to post more than 30 tweets in a single day. I try to have some wit and substance to my tweets, more than just generic status tweets like “Having dinner,” for example.

Describe your twitter life: My Twitter life is one in which I use Twitter as an outlet for things I think are cool, ideas which I want to share, thoughts I’d like to express at that moment. Twitter is very much a social and interactive tool for me. The best is when I post a tweet that generates a lot of positive responses, because people appreciate either my thoughts or how I expressed them. I like applause and appreciation, what can I say?

Do you use other microblogs aside from Twitter? I used to use a lot: Friendfeed, Tumblr, identi.ca, Plurk, Pownce, Socialthing, etc. But recently I dropped them all. Twitter is the only one I keep coming back to.

Despite lots of microblogs coming out, why do you still use Twitter? I find that it’s usually the simplest ideas that are the best, and Twitter is one of those brilliantly simple ideas that has stood the test of time (so far).
